So this is my first review of a book that Christina and I
call SMUTTY, that’s right it’s naughty and we absolutely love it! Olivia
Cunning is brilliant, seriously we’ve both have read Try Me now twice, and let
me just say I flew through it faster than I did the first time. Gabe, sigh, is
so HOTT! That’s right he’s double the T worthy! I love Melanie too, she is
totally opposite of me in some ways but the attraction she has towards Gabe
goes beneath the exterior. You see Gabe is the drummer to the band Sole Regret
and well Mel doesn’t like that “type” (tattoos, piercings, Mohawk) girl is
crazy if you ask me, boys with tattoos are hella fine! LOL ok now that I got
that out of the way… So Melanie is dragged to the Sole Regret concert by her
friend Nikki who wants to bang Shade, the vocalist. Personally I think Shade is
an asshole, granted I can totally see it being a fake bravado to hide some
intense insecurities, but he’s an ass none the less.
Nikki gets them backstage by some serious tonging ….with
Melanie! That’s right Nikki took advantage of Mel, and to be honest I can’t
even be mad at her, she did what she had to do to get backstage, so kudos to
her! This is where the fun begins! After Mel helps Nikki meet Shade, she goes
and sits on a couch trying to ignore the “freaks” around her and is totally
clueless about the guy sitting next to her, Gabe. They talk and she has no idea
who he is, which intrigues him, I mean she is at his bands after party you
would think she knows the band right? Well as they converse they find they are
attracted to each other….which leads to some intense sex. Trust me you will
need a cold shower….but the thing I love most about this book and the way in
which Olivia wrote it, it wasn’t just about the amazing sex, it also showed the
amazing connection the two had. Now you must go buy this book and read it!

So Try Me is book one in the one night with Sole Regret series. In this book Melanie and Nikki are following the band so that Nikki can "get some" with one of the band members, she does not care which one. Melanie tags along basically to take care of her friend. Nikki uses Melanie to get back stage.... by well kissing her and feeling her up.... which.... Makes the roadies Hot and pushes them backstage to meet the guys! Melanie really wants NOTHING to do with the Tattoo/pierced rockers. That is until one Gabriel Banner sits next to her. The connection flies between the two of them and Melanie finds herself wanting MORE than a conversation with "Force" Gabe. She doesn't know he is in the band first off. The connection that is made is more than just the AMAZING sex they have together. Gabe has some interesting facts about himself that draws Melanie. He thinks it would turn her off but it doesn't and he likes that. You will have to read it to know more. I love the connection they make and the wanting for MORE with each other in more ways than one. Olivia....... make their story longer please! :) Now It's off to Tempt Me... book 2. This one is about Adam. You'll see.
