In love, sometimes what you fear most is exactly what you need.

Laura Drake is an author.  She writes bestselling paranormal romances that continue to top the charts.  She is sharp.  She is confident.  She is in control.
And she doesn’t exist.

Samantha Jansen is the woman behind the wig, the woman most of the world doesn’t know exists.  She is shy.  She is insecure.  She is nothing like her main character or her alter ego.  She is scarred—deeply scarred—by a past she can’t let go of and a present she can’t make peace with.
Samantha’s dreams are consumed by one man, the broken hero from her books.  Mason Strait is both her wildest fantasy and her most terrifying nightmare.

When Samantha meets Alec Brand, a corporate consultant, it is as though Mason has come to life.  Alec is handsome to a fault, as elegant as he is arrogant, and more intense than any man has a right to be.

Samantha is soon sucked into a world that mirrors the fiction she writes.  Just like her main character, Daire Kirby, Samantha finds herself unable to resist the forbidden lure of Alec.  And just like Daire, she also finds that she is faced with taking a chance on a man who could either set her free or destroy her.

The scale tilts toward destruction when Samantha finds out that Alec is as much a work of fiction as Mason.  And he has scars of his own, scars that could ruin them both.

Be ready for this because it releases May 14, 2013!

Cover Reveal - Emma Hart - Always Remember

Time for a cover reveal!!!! You all remember Never Forget with Alec and Lexy, and hopefully you have experienced Holding On.......Because now we all get  Jen and Bing in Always Remember.  Are you ready to see the cover????? I know you are!!! Here we go!!

Blurb:
How long does it take for a long-distance relationship to break down? Sixteen months.
When Jen and Carl put their relationship to rest after Christmas, Jen’s biggest problem is going back to London ten days earlier than planned – and her ever-present attraction to Samuel ‘Bing’ Edwards.
Bing has no idea why Jen left Devon so fast. All he knows is that he wants her as much as he did the first day he laid eyes on her – so spending time with her while Lexy is still in Devon isn’t exactly a hardship for him. When he finds out she’s single, the only thing on his mind is finishing what they started at his dad’s fiftieth birthday party.
Feelings that have been a long time building between the two explode, and they both find themselves sucked into an easy yet passionate relationship, with Bing determined to prove to Jen that she’s it for him. That she is The One.
But in a city like London, the odds are stacked against them, and there’s always that one person ready to stir things up… And Jen doesn’t know how much of that she can take – even for the guy she loves more deeply than she ever imagined, and eventually she breaks.
Bing isn’t down with that. He wants Jen, and he wants her by his side for good.
Jennifer Mason must learn that Samuel Edwards doesn’t do giving up. Especially not when his forever girl is involved.

And Now a Little Excerpt from Jen :

JEN
He chuckles low, and I suppress the shiver that’s threatening to run through my body. His hand closes around mine, and he pries the hairspray from my grip. His fingers slip between mine, his palm hot. My eyes flick to our hands and how dainty mine looks encompassed in his.
His other hand rises to my face, his thumb tracing down my cheek to the dent below my ear. It ghosts along my jaw, tracing the shape of it, and finally settles on my lower lip. He tugs it from between my teeth gently, and the pad of his thumb strokes across it.
My eyes rise to his, our faces inches from each other.
“You know it’s you, don’t you?” he says softly, uncertainly.
I nod silently, unable to form any words.
“I mean it, Jen.” He cups the side of my face. “Whatever she tries to say, it’s all lies. Even if she hasn’t said it yet, I can tell you it’s a lie.” He dips his face towards me, resting his nose alongside mine. I let my eyes flutter shut, feeling the realness in the moment.
“I know,” I whisper. “But that doesn’t mean-”
“Don’t. Say. It,” he orders in a hushed voice. “I just got you, Jen. I waited for too long to have you, but I do now, and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let her get in between us. I told you, didn’t I? I told you that if anyone doubts us, if you ever doubt us, to come to me.”
“Yes.”
“Then do it. Come to me, babe. Don’t let her get under your skin. She’s nothing to me. She never was anything. Not like you.”
I run my free hand along his arm until it rests on his hand cupping my cheek. “What am I, Sam?”
“Everything, Jen. You are everything. Don’t ever doubt that.”

Holding On-Ending the tour

Living in London after spending almost twenty years in a town with a population of three hundred would be hard on anyone – and Alec Johnson is no exception to the rule.

When Alec followed Lexy to London, he knew his life would change drastically. He just didn’t know how much. With Lexy’s friends and admirer to contend with, he has to show there’s more to the country surfer boy than is ability to ride the waves. With his own shameless admirers, he has to keep Lexy’s trust – and despite her love for him, that’s no easy task.

Beneath her tough girl exterior, all Jennifer Mason has ever wanted to do is paint. London’s School of Art can give her that, and she couldn’t be happier she’s finally breaking free from Lilac Bay. What she’s not happy about is having to leave Carl behind – or his reluctance to visit her while she’s studying.

Their relationship is put to the test as living on her own for the first time and university take their toll on Jen. After all, three hundred miles is a long way to be away from your boyfriend when you’re eighteen years old.
And it’s even harder when you can’t keep your eyes off your best friend’s older brother.
Buy Holding On Amazon | Amazon UK

One of the best thing about Emma Hart and her writing is that it captivates you. Completely sucks you into the story that you forget that your not apart of it. She has a way of bringing ALL of the characters to life and making you feel like you have front row seats to story.

Holding On is no different to that case. I would definitely recommend reading Never Forget first so you can understand who the characters are and why what they are facing is important. I fell in love with Alec and Lexy in Never Fogert, but there was always something about Bing that drew my attention. Maybe it was the fact that he was outspoken like my brother or just the fact that he wore Pink boxers. Whatever the case I knew I was going to want more of him. Jen. Oh how I love Jen. In Never Forget you see the rivalry that Bing and Jen have and it makes you wonder whats really going on.

In Holding On, it has not one, two, but four POVs which I absolutely love. You get to get inside each of the heads of the characters, making you fall in love with each of them that much more. You see that Lexy and Alec are having some issues, not within themselves but with an outside force. You also see that Jen and her boyfriend Carl's relationship is shaky. Holding On is the perfect novella for those wanting a little more Alec and Lexy and a wonderful set up to book 2 Always Remember.

Remember this is a novella, therefor it is shorter but definitely doesn't lack the wow factor. Emma Hart is kicking some major butt in the writing department.

Christina's Review of Holding On

Holding on is the novella that takes place between Never Forget and Always Remember.  If you haven't read Never Forget then I suggest you stop reading this and head over and get it.  Now I loved that Emma gave us a look at how it was for Alec to move to London to be with Lexy.  I could not get enough of them.  We get to see Lexy and Jen start school.  I LOVE JEN.  I want a friend like her, wait I already have 3 friends like her. LOVE THEM! Who Could forget BING?  You remember, Lexy's Brother?  PINK UNDIES ? Yes I figured you would remember! Watching Lexy back in her home town with Alec and Jen is the best part of the story.  Then there is Bing and Jen's interactions, you really must read this to gather what I am saying.  I love the sizzle.  Well I am not going to say much more because...... well it's a novella and you must read it! OVER AND OVER.  Tell your friends! lol

Now... Here is a little Excerpt for you:

Alec

She throws a grape at my head, giggling. I gasp in mock shock, and she freezes. One side of my lips curl upwards. She shakes her head and steps backwards.
“I'm sorry. I was aiming for the, errrr, television,” she hedges.
I run forward, and she squeals. I grasp her round the waist, tickling her. She cries out as I pull her towards the sofa. We both fall onto it, me leaning over her.
“Stop tickling me, please,” she begs, writhing and wriggling beneath me.
“Fine.” I rest my hand against her side instead, pressing my lips to hers. She stops moving for a second. She grazes her teeth along my bottom lip, sucking it into her mouth. I growl a little deep in my throat, feeling the movement all the way down to my dick.
She fists a hand in my hair, holding me against her. Her other hand grips my back, and she loops her legs around mine. I lower my hips until they're pressing against hers, my tongue slipping between her lips. She whimpers when my hips meet hers, her body tensing slightly under mine. I run my hand along her side, down her thigh, and back up. It creeps beneath her top, making contact with the hot skin waiting there.
I hear her intake of breath at the exact same time there's a knock on the door.

And who writes all this goodness?  Well here she is:

So sit back and relax and enjoy!  Then You should really buy Entrelacen..... or you could try to win it. HEHEHE yep.... watch for the end of the post!

LOGAN INTERVIEW

HeyLogan, I'm Christina, Dani's friend. This is so exciting to meet you one onone! I won't keep you too long I know you've got April and the kids waiting.
Hey Christina, it’s good to meet you too. Anyfriend of Dani is a friend of mine!

When your mom first told you about what your mission was how did that feel?
Well at first I thought my mom was crazy. I meanwho would believe in magic and that you’re actually apart of it? It soundsinsane to even say it out loud even after going through everything. But in thesame breath it made sense. I mean sometimes I would get this feeling like Ishould be doing something more with my life and when she told me who we are itclicked. Total light bulb moment. *Laughs*

Here's a weird question, the long long coma. When you woke describe what yourthoughts and feelings were.
It was pretty long huh? *laughs* At first I thoughtit was joke. I mean who wakes up after a few years in a coma right? Usuallythey pull the plug so I thought my dad got a hold of me and was pulling thisprank. But then when I heard Gran’s voice I knew everything was real. I wascrushed to realize my mom was gone and then confused because I didn’t know whatreally happened to Deandra, if she was actually there or if it was all an illusion. So I was happy to be alive but not at the cost.

Your Gran seems like a pretty awesome lady, how is it living and working forher?
Gran is awesome. She’s like mom in so many waysthat it’s comfortable. It was awkward at first, getting used to someone alwaysbeing around and asking about your day. Mom wasn’t always there but they havesimilar personalities. I can’t complain about working for her, I mean it’s theleast I could do after her taking me in and taking care of me. *smiles*

When you ran into April at the store, was there some kind of fireworks, electricity , angels singing? Haha sorry girls are all descriptive.
*laughs* I wouldn’t say fireworks or angelssinging. But there was definitely this intense electricity flowing between us.It was a little weird to be honest. You know that feeling you get when you getshocked by someone? It’s like that but constant and running along the surfaceof your skin. But below the surface it’s so much more intense.

Some people say they know the one when they see them. Did you know THEN thatyou would be together?
No. Honestly I didn’t think I would ever see heragain. She looked like a tourist who stumbled upon the store. I felt thatconnection to her but I’ve never been the type to believe in the ONE let alonelove. From past experience with my parents, Love seemed like a door to pain andI never wanted to experience that.

When April took you home to meet the boys, were you nervous, excited both?
*runs hand through hair* Nervous. Definitelynervous, scared, and slightly excited. I knew they were going to be thedeciding factor in if something started between us. By then there was thiscrazy attraction to each other and like I said before, I never planned onfalling in love. So kids didn’t fit into my picture I had in my head. It wasall about figuring out how to find my mission, my purpose so to speak.

I'm going to say, right now, that water balloon, and muddy play was my favoritepart to read. What was your favorite part? (Laughs because I think I know)
*throws head back and laughs hard* Oh you know thatwas the best part. But I can’t say it was my favorite. My favorite part waswhen we were in the book store and I was watching April sing to the most randomsongs and her not notice me. She was in her element and there was nothing morebeautiful than that sight.

When you and April realized, Matthew was the one to protect did that scare youboth or help settle the sense of purpose within you?
I was terrified at first, but it all made sense.Everything fell into place. The way we met, the way the kids reacted to me,everything. It all just fell into place like it was designed that way.

When it was time for battle, how hard was it watching April fight too? And whenshe asked you to leave with Matthew, my heart broke. That had to be tough.
It was so hard, but my girl kicks ass! *chuckles*I’ve always told myself that I would always be the protector and when she stoodalongside me, fighting with me, it took everything to keep going and not grabher and Matthew and take off.  When shesaid that, I swear a piece of me died right then and there. If it wasn’t forMatthew clinging to me, I wouldn’t have been able to walk away, but my missionwas to make sure he was safe. So that’s what I did.

I could go on for a while but, I know you have a beautiful family to get backto. (Hands you gifts for the kids) please give these to your kids from me, andtell April I said hello! Thank you so much for talking with me!

It was awesome talking to you too and the kids aregoing to love the gifts. I swear we have them so spoiled.

So that was totally fun! Did you Love the picture of Logan? Are you swooning yet?  Here's a little swoon piece then! :)

MY (Christina) Review Of Entrelacen

I've known Dani for almost a year now, we met on twitter through our love of Amy Bartol's Books. It was funny actually. I wasn't used to interacting with other book lovers and Dani jumped right in, chatting with me, talking to me about my new puppy and even inviting me to an event.  I was like WOW I don’t know this girl and she is inviting me to go places!  It was touched and a bit excited.  So we forged a fast friendship and even started reading the same books, together, and messaging each other about them.  Dani, at the time had her own blog that she reviewed books on.  I made a joke one day that we should do one together, because I was like…. I am just too shy and didn’t want to do it alone.  I just read.  Soooooooooo basically that day, Crazy Book Chicks was born.  We dove RIGHT in!  And now with 2 blogs, twitter, and FB we are laughing at how big this got.  We are two girls who just LOVE LOVE to read.  During our BOOK CHICK craziness, Dani and I met for the first time for the last premier of a twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2.  IT was awesome and a night I will never forget.  Since then I have had the EXTREME privilege of watching Dani take on the HAT of AUTHOR.  I read tid bits as Dani wrote Entrelacen and Gushed and wanted more.  I knew then that this book would be out!
Entrelacen touched my heart and made me cry in parts.  I loved it that much, and I am not just saying that because it’s Dani’s.  The story has a special place in her heart and I am SO SO happy that she wrote it and is sharing it with all of you.  April and Logan are the main characters in this story.  We see their separate stories unfolding in the beginning of the book.  You hear of April’s life and her adopting her brothers.  (I seriously want to tell you the whole story but you must read it for the full emotional effect).  Logan’s life was not a walk in the park either.  He was raised by his mother who loved him, but there was a special and almost scary task placed upon him.  There was something and someone he must protect.   When his mom was taken from him and after being in a comma, Logan wakes to a new life with his grandmother.  This is where, in Las Vegas, Logan and April’s lives run into each other, literally.  (You’ll see)   April starts working in Logan’s Grandmothers store, and the chemistry is CLEARLY there.   My favorite part when April and Logan hang out, is the water fight with her boys!  I could clearly see that in my head. Logan is a VERY swoon worthy guy!
You know the part in books were there has to be that “No, no, no ,don’t be stubborn” that you say?   Well something happens and I will say both Logan and April are stubborn to protect themselves and the boys.  BUT you know….. that doesn’t last…. HAHAHAH! When they two of them realize they are destined to be together and protect a “special someone” it’s like the sun shines and rainbows shoot from the air.
One of my favorite quotes from the book is when Logan says:
“Baby no matter what we are here together We are in this together.  Now one is going to take us away from each other or stop us from protecting our boys”
Did you swoon?  Because it made April cry and swoon! Seriously I cried too!

The big battle at the end of the book is where I was crying.  I won’t say what happens but the emotion is thick and this is where I saw the love and strength Logan and April have for each other mature so strong.  I ABSOLUTELY Loved the whole book and the Ending was like a cherry on top.  The Epilogue is like Chocolate Syrup!
My thoughts on Entrelacen?  I loved it! Great story, great tension in parts and Lots of wondering what will happen next!  I read it in a day and could not stop.  Then had to tell Dani that I cried!  I love her dearly and am so proud that she wrote this!!!  So….. Go get your copy!!!  Fall in love with April and Logan’s stories and then with their story that became Entrelacen !

Now Hurry and go get your copy of Entrelacen today!

Last Stop on The Love Game Tour.. Dani's Review & Interview with Kyle

"Because, sometimes, letting go is the key to holding on."

His challenge? Make her fall in love with him.
Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules of the game.

Maddie Stevens hated Braden Carter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University of California, Berkeley, he's everything her brother Pearce has taught her to despise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn't she say no? She doesn't know either.

Braden wanted fiery little Maddie the second he laid eyes on her - and he'd do anything to have her, hence why he's agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it's the only way he'll get what he wants. Sex.

But, as Braden discovers, there's more to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined - and he can't help but care about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.

Maddie finds Braden isn't just a walking erection - he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and his good looks don't exactly hurt. That means trouble - but when her brother Pearce turns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realises Braden and Pearce aren't so alike anymore.

And maybe, just maybe, they're exactly what each other needs.

Buy The Love Game on

So on the last day of the tour I have my review and an interview with Kyle. Why Kyle? Well though Braden is the leading man, sometimes we need to appreciate the secondary characters and the roles they play. Kyle, though his roll is small, was major.. You'll have to read to find out. Oh, and umm I totes have dibs on him, haha. So let me introduce you to MY Kyle :)

Hey Kyle, thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for me.
Hi, Dani. It’s a pleasure to be here. Trust me. *grins and leans forward. Takes Dani’s hand and kisses it* *blushes*

So bartender *winks*, what’s your favorite drink?
How about you come out with me one night, and I’ll buy you it? *winks* I’m totally game for that, just let me know when you’re ready for some fun. *smirks*

So it’s obvious you’re interested in Maddie, what is it about her that draws your attention?
She’s the kind of person you’re naturally drawn to. Despite the shit she’s been through, she’s always got a smile on her face.

Why haven’t you asked her out or been more forward with your interest?
I thought I was pretty forward. I made plenty of suggestive comments. Not all were documented. *grins*

When Braden starts to show his interest in Maddie at the football game, what did you think?
I thought he was an asshole, so nothing different than usual.

Living in a frat house, I’m sure you’ve heard about conquests from your brother’s. Did you know about the game Braden was playing?
I had no idea. I found out when Maddie did. They played it smart – the only people that knew were Braden, Aston, and Ryan. I think Megan probably figured it out, but she was playing her own game, and it wasn’t the one the other girls were playing!

I know you’re one of the good guys, I can tell by how you acted with Maddie, do you ever think that maybe you shouldn’t be so good and embrace some of the bad boy you’re hiding?
Maybe I should embrace it.  *leans forward* Wanna help me let the bad boy out, Dani? *laughs* Maybe my hints aren’t as suggestive as I thought? *winks*

When the blow out with Maddie and Braden happened, what was your first thought?
My first thought was to slam him against the nearest brick wall, but Maddie needed someone more.  Good choice on helping Maddie out first.

Do you know if there is another book in the works?
I know Megan’s story will be out in a few months, and there is another my author is planning on, but she’s unsure on whether or not it’ll be written. So I didn’t tell you that. My lips are sealed.

Can we expect to see you making more of an appearance?
I’ll be popping up in Megan’s book, no doubt. Someone needs to provide those crazy girls with their shots! A bartenders job is the most important!

What about a book of your own?
There’s a possibility it’s been discussed. For now, you’ll just have to use your imagination. Oh I can definitely do that! *smirks as I check Kyle out*

I mean not all nice guys finish last right? *winks*
*smirks* wanna find out? *blushes* Wanna get out of here?

Alright Kyle, I think I’ve taken up enough of your time and I’m sure you have a party, game or class to get to… but if for whatever reason if you can’t find a girl on that campus of yours, call me. *blows a kiss*
OK so now that the hotness has left the building.... time for my review!! I know you all love it right? haha okay, maybe not but read it anyways and then go pick up your copy of The Love Game if you haven't already!

I rant and rave on how much of an amazing author Emma Hart is on twitter, Facebook, and even the blog I share with Christina. But sometimes words fail you. There’s only so many ways you can say a person is truly magnificent. Emma Hart is one of those people. If you have gotten the chance to talk to Emma, get to really know her, you know how amazing she is. Her books show it too. Emotion. Emotion is one of the biggest factors in what makes a book memorable. It’s what makes a book climb the charts even after its been out for months, it’s what makes you recommend it to anyone and everyone, and it’s what leaves the lasting impression on you to were you pick it up and read it again and again. The Love Game is definitely one of these books.

We’re introduced to Maddie first in The Love Game and you can tell there’s something that’s went on in her life. Something that has her tied up inside and not easily broken. Well like others in college, frat house parties are essential to the experience. Maddie has a group of girlfriends that complement each other in the best of ways. They feed of each others strengths and weaknesses. That’s another thing that makes Emma’s books amazing. She not only develops the main characters but the secondary ones as well. She makes a well-rounded book. In this first scene we are also introduced to Braden. At first sight Maddie is disgusted by him, why you ask? Well you’re going to have to read to figure that tidbit out. This is also where the gauntlet is issued. Get the campus playboy to fall in love with you and then “hump and dump” Game Over…. Right?

Then there’s the sexy Braden. I mean he has to be sexy right if he can get into every girls pants on campus, other than Maddie’s right? Well I’ll give Emma that. She sure as hell knows how to write one hot, sexy, and undeniably guy we all fall in love with. Caveman Braden is no exception. Braden wants Maddie, well in Maddie’s panties that is. About the same time the girls are hatching their “Operation Play the Player,” Braden and his boys are hatching their own scheme, get Maddie to fall in love with Braden, get into her panties...Game Over… Right?

Let’s just say what started out a game of who can get you to fall in love first turns into something so much more. Let it be a warning to everyone, sometimes Love comes knocking when you least expect it. Sometimes Love laughs in your face. Sometimes Love hurts and sometimes love isn’t always strong enough to forget what was done. Is that what happens to Maddie and Braden? Is The Love Game a testament to be careful on what you play and what’s involved when you play it? Maybe, just maybe, all it takes is a spark of attraction to ignite an inferno of passion, lust, want, need, and Love.

If you haven’t already bought your copy of The Love Game you should do it now. See what happens when a game starts with the intention of making someone fall in love for selfish reasons, might not turn out so selfish in the end. It might be just what they both needed to just be themselves.
