About A Message of Flowers:

White Carnations - pure love, sweet and lovely.
Daisy - Innocence, beauty, simplicity.

To florist, Georgina Nickols, every flower has a meaning and a purpose. Flowers are something she knows, lives, and breathes. But when they start mysteriously showing up on her porch, she’s unsure of their meaning, and of who is leaving them.
What do these flowers mean to the messenger?

An old friend from high school, Corbin Waylay, moves back to town. When he shows up, he stirs up all kinds of trouble for Georgina. Her life-long friend, Sid Trail, hates him and makes that fact clear to Georgina. But despite the warnings from her friend, she just can’t help the feelings that resurface. The feelings she hasn’t felt for anyone since high school graduation, the feelings that only Corbin can induce.

As Corbin moves closer into her life, it causes a rift between her and Sid. The mystery flowers continue to appear and begin to add to the stresses of life.
Love, secrets, pain, and lies surround Georgina, putting her trust to the test.
When the messenger is finally revealed, will the meaning of the flowers be enough to repair the damage of those hidden secrets?

Forget Me Nots - Remember me forever, good memories, hope.

Single Red Rose - I love you.

Christina's review

I read A Message of Flowers a while ago and I totally loved it.  I know I mentioned it somewhere before but I thought I would share my thoughts again.  Rachel wrote a beautiful story based on flowers and their meaning.  The love story was beautiful between Georgina and Corbin.   Georgina owns a flower shop and is great at what she does.  Her BFF Sid helps her.  I Really like Sid but he was only meant to be her best friend.  You'll see that he has more feelings than that for her.  Georgina has always liked Corbin and when he comes back into town the sparks between them ignite and you see that Corbin has always had feelings for Georgina.  Their pairing is perfect in this book.  When Georgina starts receiving flowers on her porch.  Some romantic and some warnings.  She tries to figure who is sending them.  Is it one person or two?  You'l fall in love with the characters in this book! I don't want to say more because you need to take the journey.  Love the mystery and the love.  My favorite characters are Corbin and Sid.  For different reasons.  Share what yours are after you read.  I would be interested to know.  Fall in Love with this book! Rachel did an amazing job and I've read it a few times.  It's such a sweet love story that I wold want on my shelf for a long time to come...... and have it all worn from use and passing on to friends.

Nature's Destiny Blog Tour

** Due to mature content this book is intended for readers 17/18+ **

My life was changing, morphing into something greater than I could have anticipated. I was becoming something I didn't recognize as myself anymore. A Werewolf.

I was different.

Bitten.

'Hybrid' was what they called me, and the weight that rested against that one word was crippling. They depended on me to bring them safety. What made me so special?
Oh, that's right. My destiny.

I was sucked into a world I'd had no idea existed. Twenty-one years as a human, and this was what I found out. My travelling plans, my writing degree, all of it was gone within one night. One evil night that robbed my humanity.

I wasn't completely sour. Life had been unfair a while ago, only now I'd had something worth fighting for besides myself. Something to live for.

I was afraid for the others. I couldn't let them down. I wouldn't let them down.
I'd gone to bed a human and woken up a Werewolf.

A special Werewolf.
A Hybrid.
When I first started reading Nature’s Destiny by Justine Winter, I was a little worried I wasn’t going to be able to get into it. It’s been a while since I’ve read a shifter book and was immediately intrigued, so I wanted to take a chance on a new author. Like I said before, it took me a little while to get into the story. I felt the beginning was a little fast, but once I got to chapter 3, I was immediately sucked into Luna’s life.

Justine Winter was able to create a character that we could all relate to in some shape or form. Luna isn’t this overly attractive girl that can do no wrong. In fact she’s clumsy like the rest of us, wants to move on from a haunting past, and find her place in the world. Little did she know that a mugging and a bite would change all of that. When a voice inside her head tells her she’s a werewolf, talk about some major confusion right? Not to mention these strange dreams about a gorgeous guy with emerald green eyes… and when said guy walks into the bar she works at… coincidence?

Riley… can I please have one of him? Seriously, I would gladly take being a werewolf if it meant I got to come home to one of him. He’s the Alpha and when he lets Luna know that she’s going to have to move in with him and the pack, well lets just say like any independent girl, it didn’t go over so well. The attraction Luna and Riley have toward each other is sizzling, you can’t help but see their connection and in all honestly I cannot wait to see where Justine Winter takes us on the next installment of their story.

I seriously need the next book like yesterday. I’m glad I took the chance on this book, it was a refreshing paranormal after all of the contemporary romance books I’ve been binging on. So if you are a paranormal junkie, or just need a break from the heavy, you have to read this book. Don’t get me wrong it’s packed with emotions, and tasteful sex, not to mention a battle where Luna kicks some major ass, but it’s more than that. It’s a story of a family born to protect, a prophecy that’s sure to take you on a journey, and a love that consumes. The only questions is… does everyone make it out alive?

SOMETIMES MOVING ON MEANS MOVING IN

Pixie Marshall wishes every day she could turn back time and fix the past. But she can't. And the damage is done. She's hoping that a summer of free room and board working with her aunt at the Willow Inn will help her forget. Except there's a problem: the resident handyman is none other than Levi Andrews. The handsome quarterback was once her friend-and maybe more--until everything changed in a life-shattering instant. She was hoping to avoid him, possibly forever. Now he's right down the hall and stirring up feelings Pixie thought she'd long buried . . .

Levi can't believe he's living with the one person who holds all his painful memories. More than anything he wants to make things right, but a simple "sorry" won't suffice--not when the tragedy that scarred them was his fault. Levi knows Pixie's better off without him, but every part of him screams to touch her, protect her, wrap her in his arms, and kiss away the pain. Yet even though she's so close, Pixie's heart seems more unreachable than ever. Seeing those stunning green eyes again has made one thing perfectly clear--he can't live without her.

"By turns humorous and heartbreaking, Best Kind Of Broken has become one of my favorites!"

"You'll fall for Pixie and Levi, just like I did!"
--- JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT (J. Lynn), #1 New York Times bestselling author of Wait For You

"Tangled with friendship, history and heartbreak--not to mention a huge dose of
humor--Chelsea Fine's New Adult novel is not to be missed! Beyond an
incredibly HOT read, Pixie and Levi's longing for each other will have
you rooting for them till the very end."
--- JAY CROWNOVERNew York Times bestselling author of Rule

"This book destroyed me. Tore me into little tiny pieces. But somehow with
lots of laughs and some very steamy times, Chelsea put me back together
again! Chelsea Fine's style is witty, visceral and fresh. All I wanted
to do was crawl inside this book and live with the characters. And now
all I want is MORE."
--- CHELSEA M. CAMERONNew York Times bestselling author of My Favorite Mistake

"Sandwiched between laugh out loud moments and some serious heat, Best Kind of Broken is an unforgettable story of loss and forgiveness that will leave your heart aching."
--- LISA DESROCHERSUSA Today bestselling author of A Little Too Far

The moment I saw a tweet or Facebook post about Chelsea Fine's new book, I was so excited that I had to email her to see if there was going to be a blog tour. I mean come on, how could I pass up a chance on reading something that was going to be guaranteed awesome? There was no chance in hell that I was going to, so I signed up as soon that email came through. Then when I got the book.. I was hesitant. I knew it was going to be amazing, that's a given, but I also knew it was going to be packed full of emotions. Happy, sad, anger, guilt, and forgiveness. Normally I would read a book in one sitting, I could have read this book in one sitting, but I was so damn attached to these character's that I didn't want the end to happen. I didn't want to get to that moment, that big moment that you have to say goodbye, and though you're excited at the ending, you're not entirely ready to let go. I wasn't. I'm still not, in fact I've re-read the last 10% of the book a few times over. I definitely will be picking this book up again and again to read. So you want to know about it right? I mean that's the point of reviews right? Find out if the book is for you, well do you like The Notebook? How bout Dear John? Heck even Safe Haven? If you answered yes to any one of those books, then you need to stop reading my blabbering mess and pick up this book like pronto. It's definitely not disappointing in any way.

Pixie and Levi has had a rough year. They both lost someone they loved and in with that pain they lost each other along the way. They both are barely living each day and when they come to be roommates, yelling and fighting with each other is easier to deal with than the truth. Of course that can only last so long and when that line gets crossed, are they going to stick it out or are they going to tuck tail and run? It would be easier, just staying friends, but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants.... will they fight for it or just let it go?

About Chelsea Fine:

Can't Go Without - Blog Tour Stop

“What’s the one thing you can’t go without?”

Tristan O'Donnell has money, women, and all the luxuries that cold hard cash can buy. Tristan's been sucking sunshine right from the monogrammed silver spoon his life was served up on since the day he was born. And quite frankly, he wouldn't want it any other way. He's his mother's pride and joy, his father's right-hand-man, and the envy of every guy around. All Tristan has to do is flash his million dollar smile, give his trademark wink, and he gets what he wants, when he wants, anytime he wants.

Leah Franchetti grinds her fingers to the bone; sculpting, painting, recreating treasures from trash—the very sentiment that defines her life. Her inventive, vindictive, lucrative, and seemingly unforgivable plan allowed her to shortcut her way into the life she always imagined, owning an art gallery, surrounding herself in the comfort of her passion and dreams.

When circumstances force Leah and Tristan to come face-to-face with the past and with Leah’s devious manipulation, truths come flooding forth, destroying those in the present and possibly jeopardizing both of their highly anticipated futures.

Can Tristan overcome Leah’s slander and deception—despite how dangerously close he comes to losing the one thing he can’t go without—money? Will Leah be forced to come clean, knowing she’ll have to live her life with the one thing she can’t go without—her dignity?

Excerpt:
Can’t Go Without

Rushing out of Chet O’Donnell’s office, angrily and haughtily, I face-plant straight into a strong, hard chest, covered in a wool, cable-knit sweater, smelling of expensive cologne.  People always say that the sense of smell is the most powerful sense, triggering memories and feelings clearer than any of the other four senses combined.  Just one smell, one inhalation of that warm, sexy designer cologne and my insides burn, ignite with intense desire and longing.  Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.  No. No. No.
“I’m…I’m…I’m…” I stammer, backing up, dropping my head, and looking straight at the ground in humiliation.
“I’m…I gotta go,” I mumble, sidestepping out of his way, and heading straight for the elevator.  I push the button repeatedly, knowing damn well my actions won’t speed up the elevator’s arrival.
Tristan runs to catch me, just as I eye the stairwell and bolt for the door.  “Leah! Wait!” he yells; the “wait” is muffled by the sound of the door slamming behind me.  I run down only one flight of steps and escape onto the twentieth floor, knowing that Tristan O’Donnell would chase me the entire way down the stairs—if seeing and talking to me were his goals.  Tristan O’Donnell always gets what he wants.  Always.
Hoping that Tristan doesn’t check the video monitors, I walk down the hallway to the other set of stairs and down to the first floor, exiting O’Donnell Industries.  Once I hit the street, the winter sun reflecting off the snow burns my eyes.  I squint at the pain of the brightness, knowing the sting of my tears has nothing to do with the shining, searing light.

Christina's Review:

Having Read Can't Go Home, I was familiar with Tristan and I will say I did not like him at the beginning of this book.  I know we weren't meant to.  Tristan is the oldest of the O'Donnell brothers.  We met him in Can't Go home.  He is kind of a jerk with a chip on his shoulder.  And one night with Leah ruined him and caused him in a downward spiral.  See Leah said they he rapped her and used his dad to get herself money.  In this story we learn that, that was not the case.  It was a case of, Tristan should have stayed and Leah should have gone to find him.  But no.  We also find that Leah is with this horrible guy named Samuel.  You will see why he is so horrible when you read.  Leah and Tristan are forced together when they attend Dre, and Kathryn's wedding.  Yes they are back!  And so is Piper their sister.  OH MY I love her.  She is hilarious.  You will find the story so endearing when you realize that Leah and Tristan, actually LIKED each other way back and that pull is still there.  I love how we got to see the back story of how they met and what actually happen between them. Once that happened I was invested and slowly fell in love with Tristan as a character.  He was just misunderstood.  Angelisa Stone knocked this out of the ball park!  Tristan and Leah both had past hurts and issues to work through.  And with Tristan's mom and Leah's Dad both of them learn they Can't GO without each other.  Take a chance on this..... and go get it. I loved it!!!

Book One in the Series is Can't go Home, which is Dre and Kathryn's book.

Choosing You Blog Tour Stop

Synopsis of The Jade Series:

The Jade Series is a New Adult Romance that follows the relationship of Jade and Garret in their first year of college. In Choosing You, book 1, Jade and Garret meet on Jade’s first night at Moorhurst College and despite their strong attraction to each other, they’re not allowed to date because of the strict rules that control Garret’s life. In Knowing You, (book 2), Garret breaks the family rules and begins dating Jade. Their relationship grows deeper but issues from Jade’s past complicate matters. Loving You (book 3) shows Jade and Garret growing closer as a couple but also hints at the trouble that lies ahead in Promising You (book 4), in which a new challenge emerges for Garret that could interfere with the future he wants with Jade.
 Choosing You Synopsis:

When Jade is given a scholarship to an elite private college in Connecticut, she sees it as a chance to finally escape her painful past and get a fresh start. She’s determined to succeed and that means keeping her focus on school and not guys. But her plan falls apart her first day on campus when Garret, a rich prep school boy with swimmer abs and a perfect smile, offers to help her move in.

Jade tries to push him away, but she can’t deny her attraction to him and Garret won’t let her. Things quickly heat up between them, but then come to a sudden halt when reality hits and Jade realizes that a relationship with Garret may never be possible. He comes from a world of wealth where there are rules, including rules about who he can date. And not following those rules has consequences.

As the two of them try to overcome the obstacles working to keep them apart, Jade is confronted with another challenge. On her 19th birthday, she receives a letter that her now deceased mother wrote years ago. In it are revelations that explain her traumatic childhood but also make her question the past she’s been running from.
 Review:

I remember seeing the cover of this book by Allie Everhart and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I received it during the day on Friday and couldn’t wait to get off of work so I could devour it. Devour it I did, as soon as the kids were in bed that is. It completely held me captive and I can honestly say that I had to pick up the other 3 books in the series, and you will too once you read Choosing You.

So what’s it about? Jade had a troubled past. She grew up with an alcoholic/drug addict mom and the idea that she hated her. She had no one but Ryan, her adoptive older brother, and his father Frank. Going to college seemed like an amazing thought, a fresh start, and a way to get away from her past. Jade’s sole focus was going to be on school, not boys, and definitely not parties. That is until Garret helped move her into her dorm and decided to become the friend she didn’t want. The problem wasn’t in the friendship, it was in the feelings he invoked in her.

Trust. It’s a hard thing to do when you have a hard background. We’ve all been there, we’ve all been in Jade’s shoes at one point in time. It’s when you can’t trust anyone because of past experiences, but you somehow give them your trust anyways because you believe in them. In that strange connection buzzing around inside of you, but what happens with they test that trust? When something as little as not saying who you really are, leaves you feeling like a fool, and you realize that maybe trusting them wasn’t the best option. Jade put her trust into Garret to have it come back at her. Did she overreact, maybe, but honestly I would have felt the same way. Did he deserve a second chance, sure, and she gave it to him.

Garret has his own demons. Coming from a wealthy family, there’s certain obligations he has to face, rules, as he calls it. There’s only so much you can take before you snap. When he meets Jade, all those rules are up for the breaking, and he breaks them. Not without consequences though.

On her 19th birthday, Jade receives a letter that her mother wrote to her when she was a baby. In the letter it says something that has Jade putting pieces together. Calling Frank in hope of him denying the allegations, but when he doesn’t, Jade may have just opened up Pandora’s Box. So what happens now? You’ll have to read the next book to find out, I know I am!

I haven’t been in a reading mood lately, I guess you can call it a slump, but this book has definitely peeked my interest. It not only has the romance I seek in books, but it also holds a mystery. Who’s Jade’s father? What secrets can Garret’s family possibly hold that keeps them at the top? And where does this leave Jade and Garret? All questions I can’t wait to find answers to in the next few books! If you haven’t started the Jade Series, you should totally get on that, like NOW!
