So we stumbled upon Love Unscripted by Tina Reber one night when we were trying to find something new to read and I have to say I’m so glad we did. I absolutely love the way she writes, the way she develops the characters, and the way she paints the setting to where you feel as though you are there.  

In Love Unscripted, Taryn Mitchell and Ryan Christensen fall in love. Taryn is the owner of the local pub, and is practically the only female who has never seen a Ryan Christensen film. Ryan is an actor famously known for his role in Seaside, which is currently filming in Taryn’s home of Seaport, Rhode Island. Ryan is chased by crazy fans and ducks into Taryn’s pub to escape out the backdoor, but manages to take the door that leads to her apartment above the pub. How awesome would it be to live above your own pub?! The way Tina describes the pub I completely fell in love with it and could totally imagine myself sitting at the bar chatting up Marie and Taryn. Right, so Ryan hides out at the pub so the fans would disappear but in the process Taryn and Ryan have a few drinks and shoot some pool. Cue the attraction! Along the course of Ryan filming, he makes appearances at the pub with fellow cast mates vying for Taryn’s attention. She finally gives in and takes a chance.  Dating someone famous is far from easy. There a lot of obstacles they both face and with Taryn’s past; trust is a major issue, not to mention psycho fans who threaten you. Will love be enough? Can Taryn get past the fact that Ryan is an actor and the lifestyle is difficult at times? The ending had me so worked up I could not wait for book 2, Love Unrehearsed!

Now in Love Unrehearsed I can honestly I was so thrilled that there were no breaks in Ryan’s and Taryn’s relationship, I honestly don’t think I could have gone through it again. I’m so happy that Tina showed the development of each character as well as shows the flaws that all people possess. Taryn’s groups of friends are breaking apart while the love she and Ryan grow more and more each day.  Ryan learns who he can trust and who he can’t, while steady working on communicating honestly with Taryn. Taryn also finds out that there is truth behind the nightmares that are plaguing her. Where Love Unscripted showed the struggles of them falling in love and dealing with stalking fans; Love Unrehearsed shows how they grow as a couple and work through their problems with open honesty. I can honestly say that this is the best ending to a fabulous book that I could ever imagine. Totally and completely Happily Ever After! 

I absolutely love Taryn, she’s beautiful and selfless. She knows how to love unconditionally and complements Ryan awesomely. Then there is Ryan, sigh, I love Ryan! The way he loves Taryn is inspiring…he’s just what she needed. I hope one day I can find a love like that. Yes cliché I know, but like Tina said, “dreams do come true if you point yourself in their direction.”

Love Unscripted is an AWESOME love story about a Hot upcoming Hollywood actor and a woman who owns a pub.  Ryan Christensen is the star of the new Seaside films (those are like twilight to real life people).  He is running from fans when he stumbles into Taryn Mitchell's pub.  She hides him out for a while and they enjoy a nice conversation.  Ryan is totally fascinated with Taryn.  She is NOT a huge fan, in fact she didn't really know who he was till the day before she met him.  Ryan pursues her and they start a relationship.  AND alllllll the things go with dating someone famous happens. Even a Nasty misunderstanding break up but.... don't worry that is resolved.

On to book 2 that we just read

LOVE UNREHEARSED
This book picks up where book 1 left off.  Ryan and Taryn are "celebrating"  (what? well read both and you will see what).  She is attending premiers with him and experiencing all the nerves and the craziness that is Ryan's public life.  In this book they face the challenges of Ryan's "people" who might not have his best interest at heart.  They are also dealing with people who want to see them fail. AND yes THE PAP is always causing trouble! But these two form a united front and face everything head on.  Yes they both have their insecurities but are there for each other to see it through!  Their bond and love is so strong in this book!  I fell in TOTAL Love with this book!  My recommendation.... is to get both books, find a cozy corner and fall in love with Ryan and Taryn's love story!
