Loner Vahn Silver is an outcast and likes it that way. Living in the shadows, Vahn forces himself into the light to protect Keeley from the man who killed his best friend - even if that means risking his own life.

Talk about an emotional ride and a glimpse of hope that maybe, just maybe, there is a chance of love at first sight. M.R. Polish took me on an amazing journey with this book. I was having a hard time deciding what book to read and needed something to get me back in my reading mojo. I remember loving Ageless Sea and had Change of Possession on my kindle, loved the cover so I opened it up. So not disappointed.

Keeley moved away from her hometown in hopes of escaping her past. Which she manages to do but is thrown into something even crazier. Meeting Caty, a girl from one of her classes, bumping into Jonah, and a party later where she meets Steve, the quarterback and ‘king’ of the school… Keeley’s life is thrust into something she never saw coming. Steve is….well he has some serious issues… ones that I won’t say because you need to read this book. A mysterious number warns Keeley, but who is it?
Vahn *girly sigh* can I have him please? Vahn has a past too, but instead of running from it he’s trying to expose the truth. Some might say get revenge for his friend, I say he’s trying to prevent it from happening again. So when he sees Keeley falling into the circle that controls everything, he does what he can to prevent her from the same fate. She doesn’t realize it at first, until he asks her to meet him on the boat.

“At that moment, life was perfect. I was alive, and Vahn was the reason why.”

When Keeley realizes the mystery guy is Vahn, it’s like everything is looking up. But perfection isn’t possible and in this case, the drama comes in the form of Steve. What happens? Will Keeley and Vahn make it out alive?

This book was beyond amazing and surpassed my expectations. It definitely got my mood going for another book, it’s just going to be a tough act to follow. M.R. Polish tackled a subject beautifully. Not many people would have brought what she has to life in these pages and I applaud her. Drugs and control are things real people face on a daily basis, its books like Change of Possession, that give hope to those who have been in the same situations as these characters. If you haven’t picked up this book, you need to do so now!
Just finished Change of Possession and I LOVED it!! Keeley was trying to start out fresh after a crazy teen past. She starts meeting new friends and trying a party. This guy Steve takes a weird interest in her.... Wayyyyyyy to weird for her liking. Weird things are happening and she tries to back away. Steve does not like it. She also notices this hot guy... Dark and mysterious. Who knew he would be looking out for her. Vahn... That's his name , starts calling her and they start hanging out. It's what they called "Insta-love". Guess who doesn't like it? That's right Steve. He thinks Keeley is his. And let's just say all his friends are just as messed up. When Keeley finds herself happy with Vahn how far will Steve go to try to take her? You won't believe the one crazy after another. I was I shock most of the book! It kept me going till the end. I read it in one afternoon and loved it!! This is a keeper for sure! Go grab yours today!!

M.R. Polish was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to publish her stories for everyone to enjoy. Her first award and when writing became more than just an idea was in the 5th grade. She won the scary story contest for the school newspaper. It is one story she still has tucked away for memories. Her teacher told her she could be anything she wanted and that she had a talant for writing, being creative and drawing people into her stories. M.R. took that to heart and continued to write, although mostly in secret until recent years.
Now you can find her enjoying life with her family - wrangling her four kids, setting traps in the house with toys for unsuspecting victims (aka, her husband) and writing down all her crazy and fun stories.
"Life is too short to stand by and watch everyone else live your dreams. The bigger the dream, the bigger the adventure!" ~ M.R. Polish
