One Tiny Secret

**Mature Content Warning** Recommended for 17+ due to language, violence, and sexual content.

Just one tiny secret has the potential to ruin everything.

Being the daughter of the sheriff in a small town like Holden Ridge means that eighteen-year-old Danielle "Dani" Marks' life is under constant surveillance. She's made a habit of staying under the radar by being a floater among social circles at school, which has kept her out of trouble--until now.

After a missing persons case stirs up the entire town, Dani finds herself caught right in the middle of the scandal. When she's labeled a possible suspect, things quickly go from bad to worse. The sudden return of her old flame, Parker Reed, manages to make her whole situation even more complicated.

When an elusive unknown person begins to blackmail Dani by threatening to reveal her deepest secrets, Dani refuses to play along. That is, until the person's actions take a violent turn. Holden Ridge loses its sense of quaint town security, and Dani is caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Who can she trust when anyone around her could be a suspect?

One thing's for certain though: Never underestimate the power of one tiny secret.

So I’ve been in a reading frenzy this weekend. Maybe it’s because I’ve had my boys the last four days and while they played I was able to escape the real world into the world of fantasy characters that become real. Characters so real that I literally was biting my nails and saying “no way, no FREAKNG way!” Of course you know what book I’m talking about because, well I’m posting my review under it obviously, but when I say I was absolutely shocked, it’s not an understatement. I’m usually pretty good at figuring out how books end but Adam Kunz you had me at the edge of my seat the entire time and questioning everyone.

When I started One Tiny Secret, I knew it was going to be a great book. I mean the title alone has you wondering what the secret is. So I dived in and didn’t come up for air until I was finished. I had my suspicion about a few people and what was going on, but I never came to the conclusion that the book did. I was floored. Literally floored and amazed that I was 100% wrong in my predictions. So kudos for that Adam! So you’re probably wondering what happened and who these characters are right? Well first I have to say I love the main MC, one for her name being Danielle and going by Dani. Us Dani’s have to stick together. Two because well she’s just a kick ass MC. We get introduced into the story with Dani designing a flyer for a super-secret party that’s not really happening if you get questioned.

Then everything in Dani’s life is about to change. It all starts with this Halloween party. So what happens at the party? Well you’ll have to read that to find out, but I will tell you that a boy, a hot boy, a boy that broke Dani’s heart comes back. It also happens to be the beginning of the Unknown texts Dani gets. So who’s friend and who’s foe? With Parker back and Dani not being sure were her feelings stands with him, can they get past their past to figure out who’s to get Dani before it’s too late? Will Dani and Parker have a future? And who’s the infamous Unknown that’s determined to destroy Dani and the people she cares about and what’s the motive?

I cannot wait to see what else Adam Kunz comes out with next and I’m so intrigued by this book that I will definitely be picking up the other books he wrote alongside his mom to see how amazingly awesome they are. His writing is amazing, the details are perfect and each word is pact with enough emotion that will have you being jumpy along-side Dani. I just became a fan of Adam Kunz, so you need to go pick this book up right now if you haven’t and start reading its awesomeness.
<3 Dani

Adam Kunz is the A part of the mother and son author duo C.A. Kunz. Growing up, he always had a fondness for R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. So, it was a no brainer when he decided to write his own novel that it'd be a thrilling mystery with a dash of horror, and some romance thrown in for good measure. When he's not busy writing, Adam enjoys his job at a theme park in Orlando, Florida as a décor consultant. This job brings him face to face with all sorts of nightmarish creatures, especially when he decorates the haunted houses for the park's annual Halloween event. It's been said by many that his addiction to Starbucks coffee will most likely be his downfall later in life
