I fell in love with Misty Provencher when I read her YA Cornerstone Series. I usually tend to be obsessed over an author once I find their writing style to capture and hold my attention, Misty is one of these authors. Though I love a good paranormal book, I love reading about issues that people face on a daily basis, especially topics that some might think are controversial. Misty tackles a few of these topics in Stronger and she does it with beautiful grace, that no one can ignore the messages behind the words.

Lydia Strong married young and when her husband Desmond decides he wants a better life, he meets another woman. So to block all that out she drinks and brings home a different guy every night. Until Aiden moves into her apartment building. He notices her and she feels things for him that she hasn't felt since she met Desmond. Aiden notices her addictions, he was there once, and he wants to help her.  The thing is you cant help someone unless they want the help. So that leaves the question... does Lydia want the help?  What happens when Desmond  finds out about Aiden? Can Lydia survive the present to have a future with Aiden?

I was in complete Devour mode as soon as I started this book and stayed awake until it was finished. Misty has a way of capturing my attention, breaking my heart, and fixing it all over again by letting me be apart of an epic love story. If you haven't read this book, you need to drop what you are doing and grab it now. You won't be the same after you've read it and you definitely won't be disappointed. Stronger by Misty Provencher surprised me in so many good ways! I loved her cornerstone series so I was hoping for great things from this book and I wasn't disappointed. This book is filled with such dark, strong emotions I couldn't stop. Lydia's life isn't what she thought it would be. She's married to her high school love, but he's also married to another woman. She's addicted to drinking and drugs and sex. I think her salvation comes in the form of her neighbor, Aidan, who has been through those demons. You ask why is she married to an asshole? You'll have to read to find out. Aidan.... Wow more of him!! He shows Lydia the life she can have. As a stronger person. Meeting her friends in AA and having so many people in her life she didn't think she'd have. She comes out on top!! Take this trip with her and Misty! I want more!!

When I found out that Helen Boswell was writing an NA novel and that it was set in Vegas, I was thrilled. I live in Las Vegas and the author nailed the details perfectly. This book isn't your typical NA, in terms of sex, they do have it but it’s not the sole focus. Losing Enough is more than what’s out there right now. It's about real life struggles, falling in love, and learning to let go.

Alexis, Alex, is a girl some might think as spoiled because every summer she gets to vacation in Las Vegas while her High Roller dad plays the scene, but it’s nothing like that. First night in town she goes to see her best friend at the bar she works at, bumps into a guy that seems like an ass. Little does she know that she will be seeing more of him, especially when he saves her from a douche bag and then takes her home.

Connor…oh how I love Connor. He comes off as an ass, but in his line of work, and his past, you can’t

really blame him. When a girl he took home for his cousin to make up for the past, he never thought he would be thinking about her again. Connor has a past though, one he moved to Vegas to avoid, but it seems it’s found him anyways. I love who he becomes with Alex. She's able to break through his walls and see the real Connor that's hidden deep.

When Alex and Connor start seeing each other, things in both of their lives make things difficult. Alex’s mom is sick and her dad got into business with the wrong person, Connor’s twin brother has a demand, and the feelings between the two are more than just a fling. But will they let it develop into something more? Life has a way of pulling people together just when you need it, but sometimes fate needs a helping hand.

Does Alex and Connor have a future, or will the past get in the way? You need to pick this book up and read it for yourself. Helen Boswell did an amazing job in bringing these characters to life, and my only complaint is I want more. I couldn’t get enough of Alex and Connor and hope to see more of them later on. Hear that Helen Boswell, can I get a novella please? This is definitely a book I can read over and over again, just writing this review weeks after I read the book, makes me want to pick it back up!

Losing Enough by Helen Boswell was just amazing! I could not put it down! I loved the story flow and all the characters.  Alexis was heading to Las Vegas to meet up with her parents for vacation.  High Roller hotel and Room, it was to be the ultimate!  Her and her best friend Elle is a hoot! I love her and glad I have a friend just as fun! Alexis is there to hit the clubs and to just have an over all blast.  She didn't gamble on meeting a hot private security guard by the name of Connor. Connor has built the private security business for himself.  Escaping the life his twin brother was leading.  He took care of all  the high rollers and this put him in perfect view of Alexis and her father.  They both did not want a relationship but the attraction was there. Can they let down their walls and take a chance.  Also when Connor’s “evil twin” comes into play will it ruin everything he has worked up to? 

I LOVED this book and love that Helen took a chance on this story! I want more already! Loved every character! You should go try out this book!! 

About the Author

Originally from upstate New York, Helen Boswell spent several years of her early adult life tromping around in the city of Buffalo with frequent trips to Toronto, Canada. These two cities in particular serve as inspirational settings for her urban fantasies, and while Helen has since moved to live in the southwestern United States, she will have fond memories of urban life and high-heeled sneakers for all eternity.

Helen earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo and dedicates her time to teaching biology and other fun things to college students, spending time with her wonderful family, and eating chocolate while writing.

I finished this book in a matter of hours and it was a perfect finale, but I'm not satisfied. I'm  greedy and want more. Then again, I always want more, but who knows, maybe in another book we'll get more of Julia and Clay. *Crosses Fingers*

Trust comes into play majorly in this book. Can Clay trust Julia when she won't open up? Will she open up and let him in on her secret? What happens when the trust Julie had in Clay gets tested? All these questions get answered.

All I'm going to say is that I LOVED this series and Lauren Blakely is an absolute genius. You have to... HAVE TO.. read Julia and Clay's story. Go grab your copies now!

Anyway, Clay and Julia are apart because she wasn't sharing everything and Clay was thinking the worst. But Julia's sisters wedding brings them back together. Julia opens up and tells Clay everything. But can he do as she asks and let her handle it or will he try to protect her? Hmmm mm yep he does. Julia has to decide can she accept that, and understand Clay's intentions. 

I love their chemistry. I didn't want the book to end. It's one of those books you want to stay in like a warm coat.

So here's the thing, I love all books by Lauren Blakely, but this series is seriously my new favorite. It started with the novella, First Night, and if you love Lauren Blakely books like I do, you snatched the freebie as soon as it went live. Then you proceeded to count down the days to see what Clay and Julia were up to in Night After Night. HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS, please follow the warning posted above and have either a cold shower ready, new set of panties to change into, or a guy ready to get freaky with. Trust me when I say that Lauren Blakely will take you on a new ride and make you fall in love with these characters and have you wishing Clay was in the room with you instead of Julia.

Night after Night by Lauren Blakely has become a new favorite.  However this book made me nervous and I can’t wait for the new one!!  I need it like now! Julia Bell is a bartender who is ready for some thing for one night!  Clay Nichols has been burned by women and just wants one to have fun with.  That’s until he meets Julia.  He wants more than one night with her.  They both have secrets though!  Julia has big ones and doesn't want to involve people in her problems.  This becomes a HUGE problem for Clay.  Will they resolve their secrets?  I can’t wait for the next one to see.

I loved the characters and suspense in this book.  AND It’s SUPER Hot!  Lauren Blakely Hooks me every time! I know this is a short review but seriously my rambling tongue would tell you the whole book!  HAHAHAHA

       I started reading Intoxicating Passion, the box set, by Felicia Tatum around 11:30 pm and finished it by 1:52 am. Can I just say that I’m absolutely in love with Dane? I mean seriously the boy is far from perfect but there’s something about him that pulls at your heart. Don’t get me started on how much love I have for Korah. When it comes down to it though, I have to give mad love to Felicia Tatum and her utter brilliance on writing an engaging series of novellas and packaging it all together so we don’t have to wait for each individual one to be released.

Korah has trust issues when it comes to guys, rightfully so when you’ve been in an abusive relationship. I applaud Felicia for taking on a subject that affects numerous women and men around us on a day to day basis. Maybe you know of someone who is or has been abused, the one thing we all need to remember is that we can fight this by helping each other out. When Korah goes to a Halloween party with her best friend Leela, Zorro sweeps her off her feet and things heat up, but before faces and names are revealed, she runs.

Now Dane is a ladies man, but beneath that beautiful body of his lies a fragile, and broken heart. Witnessing his mother’s indiscretions and falling in love in high school with a girl that cheats on him with his best friend, Dane turns off his feelings by sleeping with any girl who shows interest. When he sees a girl in a store that doesn’t pay him the attention he’s used to his interest is piqued. When a girl that walks into his frat house on Halloween in an Angel costume leads to a little action, but she leaves before any names or faces are exchanged. It has him going crazy.

So when the semester starts up and Korah can’t stop thinking about the guy who made her lose control, Dane can’t stop thinking about the girl who ran off, and fate plays her hand by putting them together as lab partners, can they both come out on top or will they break each other more than they already are?

I absolutely loved this series. I don’t want to elaborate more on it that what I have already because I don’t like spoilers, but I will tell you so much goes down that you will have to finish it in one sitting. Seriously. Korah and Dane face so many obstacles but it only makes their ending so much sweeter. You can’t help but curse Dane at some of the stupid mistakes he makes, but he’s learning. The growth in both of these characters are beyond amazing and I’m really sad there isn’t more to their story. I definitely would love to see more from them. So if you haven’t grabbed your copy of this amazing set of novella’s you need to do that now! 

I love Felicia Tatum's books and this little series of 5 kept me captivated till the end. Korah and Dane met behind masks at a Halloween party and he wanted to find her again. Korah wanted to forget. Then they landed as lab partners in a class. Dane asked Korah to let him prove himself. See he's a playboy, hurt my relationships and Korah has had a scary past with guys. They try and Dane feels a connection and runs. Korah doesn't want to trust him again but their draw to each other is strong.

I loved their chemistry and wanted them together every time they got close!! But They had to work through stuff. Then Korahs ex comes and beats her!! Dane omg here I swooned he took such good care of her. I wanted to slap him though when he fought his feelings. This only took me a matter of hours to get through and I still want more!

I love when I get introduced to author's I've never heard about, even more so when I love their books. I wasn't able to get to Man of my Dreams before the tour date was upon us, but I did manage to read Keep Me and I absolutely adored it. I know reading is an escape to some, because it is to me as well, but I've found lately that I'm really enjoying books that have a realistic theme. Keep Me is by no means and easy read. It's an emotional roller coaster and I applaud Faith Andrews in doing a spectacular job. I felt like I connected with Tessa and Marcus on some degree and that's what reading is all about in my opinion. I love and thrive on that connection. I laughed, swooned, and cried throughout this book. OMG the last 20% of the book had me glued to it. No one was tearing me away from finishing it once I hit that last percentage. I was hooked from the beginning and stayed hooked until the beautiful end.

So what's it about? Well Tessa met this guy Zack and thought he was amazing. You know the saying, "Love is blind," right? Well it took a lot for Tessa to finally see the damage he was causing her and for her to get away from him. When she starts working, little does she know one of the clients of the place she works at is going to be the little brother of her best friend Riley. Little he is not, sexy as sin he is. We start off the book with Marcus's POV, loved that its dual by the way, and he owns up to his man whorish ways. He never thought he would run into Tessa again, let alone feel the feelings he's starting to feel. The thing is can he change his ways and finally be wiling to commit to one girl if that girl is Tessa, or will his past get in the way of a future he never dreamed about?

The quote up there... best quote ever! I wish I had a guy to tell me that. When I say this book is a roller coaster ride of emotions, I'm not kidding. It's not only about falling in love with your best friends little brother or your sister's best friend. It's about learning to grow as an individual and as a couple. It's about deciding what's worth fighting for and hoping for the best. It's about over coming life's obstacles, learning to love again, and above all trust in someone with everything you have.

If you haven't picked up your copy of this book, you need to do so now. You need to fall in love with the way Faith Andrews wrote a strong mother figure in Tessa Bradley and hot bad boy who isn't so bad in Marcus Grayson. You'll also love Riley (the sister/best friend), Beck (Marcus's best friend). and you can't forget Luca (Tessa's son). A full rounded cast of characters for you to drool over, I hope to be reading another book containing Riley's story. *hint hint* :)

Keep me was absolutely adorable. I read it in 24 hours. Tessa and Riley were great friends in high school and past till Tessa went off and got married to a dude she realllllly shouldn't have. He pulled her away from her friends, dominated her life and beat her. Even after she had their son. With a restraining order on him and him in rehab, that should keep her safe and him away. Right?

Marcus, is Riley's younger brother, and hot model. He's had a thing for Tessa for a while. He's known as a player too. But when their careers come together, the heat ignites. Can he prove to her that he's not a play boy and she can trust her heart with him?

Omg this story was so cute. Marcus falling for Tessa, proving himself to her and Tessa trying to let down her guard. And the way he is with her son. I swooned! Marcus is one stand up  strong character in this book!! I loved him. Especially when he says to Tessa "keep me". And he always will protect her. It was adorable! Hot and sweet! Loved!!!
