With the holiday season upon her, Jamie Foster is once again stressed about making her yearly visit back home to Woodfalls, still single. Fate intervenes in the form of Grant Johnson, a boy she grew up with, who catches the same flight while returning home from a business trip.
When a malfunction sends their plane crashing down on the runway upon takeoff, Jamie and Grant decide to rent a car and make the nine-hundred-mile drive home together. Ironically for them, anything that can go wrong does as they face one hysterical hurdle after another.
Christmas may finally bring Jamie the gift of love she has always wanted if she and Grant can manage to overcome a few obstacles along the way. Ho-ho-ho!
It’s 10/10/13 6:25 pm and I just finished Cross Country
Christmas by Tiffany King. It’s 1 of 12 Christmas novellas that will be
releasing soon. Let me tell you, I could not put this book down, seriously. I
had to go to the store so I made someone else drive so I could read the book. I
had an interview at 3pm today and while I was waiting, I was reading the book.
(Maybe that’s why I got the job!) As soon I got back into the car, I was
reading, got home, and finished reading. LOVED it! But then again it is a Tiffany King book how
can I not?
Cross Country Christmas is absolutely brilliant. I was
smiling, laughing, and swooning the entire book. So much so that I wrote
Tiffany an email. Seriously I totally did because the novella wasn’t enough for
me. I NEED more, I HAVE to have more. We all at some point have this dream of
how love is supposed to be. How we are supposed to find our soul mates and have
an instant connection, well sometime it doesn’t happen that way. Sometimes it
takes a plane crash, a car crash, and a sprained ankle to make us realize what
was always in front of us. It take a life altering moment to realize that maybe
the one person who you didn’t think thought about you the same way, has been
feeling the same thing the entire time.
Jamie left Woodfalls to find that all-consuming, love at
first sight type of love, but after years or avoiding Woodfalls, she’s nowhere
closer to that love as the day she left. Running into Grant, a guy she had a
major crush on, on the way home for Christmas has turned up everything she ran
away from. How does Jamie deal with it? Is Grant the same annoying person who
used to tease her? There’s so many moments when you just want to yell, “Kiss
her already!” and moments when you’re swooning so bad that it’s like, “damn why
can’t this guy be mine!” Point is this novella is beyond amazing and will leave
you wanting more. I fell in love with Grant and Jamie and I’m sure you will
too! So make sure you grab this book and check out Tiffany King’s
aca-awesome story in Cross Country Christmas.

I love any of Tiffany King's books and Cross Country Christmas was a sweet novella that made me want more and more!
Jamie is headed home for Christmas in Woodfalls. She's a food blogger and had moved away. She moved away to get away from home. When she gets on her plane for home.... The guy she had a crush on but picked on her most of her school
Life, was on the plane and next to her. Grant is hilarious. Right here I knew the book would be interesting!! When their plane crashes on the runway and they have to drive home together, all kinds of fun happens. I don't want to say much more than, when forced together this way, only one thing can happen. And you know what they say when a guy teases you in school, and later right? Yep Grant is sweet and hot rolled in one!! Tiffany King, I want MORE!!
