Synopsis
His challenge? Make her fall in love with him.
Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules ofthe game.
Maddie Stevens hated BradenCarter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University ofCalifornia, Berkeley, he's everything her brother Pearce has taught her todespise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn't shesay no? She doesn't know either.
Braden wanted fiery little Maddiethe second he laid eyes on her - and he'd do anything to have her, hence whyhe's agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it's the only wayhe'll get what he wants. Sex.
But, as Braden discovers, there'smore to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined - and he can't help butcare about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.
Maddie finds Braden isn't just awalking erection - he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and hisgood looks don't exactly hurt. That means trouble - but when her brother Pearceturns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realises Braden and Pearcearen't so alike anymore.
And maybe, just maybe, they'reexactly what each other needs.

Interview with Maddie and Braden

Hi guys, I'm Christina from the crazy book chicks. Thanks for taking time to sit down with me. *smiles*
Maddie:Hi, Christina! Thanks for having us.
Braden:Hi.
Braden winks, and Maddie elbows him, rolling her eyes.

Okay let's jump right to this shall we? Before you both decided to play this game, were you attracted to each other in any way?Maybe just a little?

Braden: Fuck yeah. I mean, you’ve seen my girl, right?
Maddie: Maybe a little. I guess I can admit that now…
Braden grins.
Braden: It’s taken you long enough.
Maddie: Shut up. Your head is big enough without me admitting that!

Okay first date. Coffee, what your first thoughts during that date?

Braden: That the barista was kind of hot, but Maddie was hotter. Is hotter.
Maddie gives Braden a look.
Maddie: That Braden is a really, really bad dater, and has no idea how to do a first date.
Braden: Hey, I thought I did pretty well!
Maddie raises her eyebrows.
Maddie: Was that before or after you eyed up the barista?
Braden grumbles under his breath.
Braden: I’ll give you that one.

Braden, what was your first thought when you tasted the Double Chocolate Chip Frap?
You seemed to get it a lot after that? *giggles*
Braden:I was thinking that if I drunk it more, Maddie might kiss me more.

Braden, tell me, did it drive you crazy waiting to hear about that second date and why? *thumbs up at Maddie*

Maddie winks.
Braden: Damn right it did! At that point, I was a little impatient to get to the sex part. I don’t do waiting.
Maddie: You still are.
Braden: Are what?
Maddie: Impatient to get to sex.
Braden: Can you blame me?
Maddie: Can we not discuss this in front of Christina? God knows you talk about it enough as it is.
Braden grins, sitting back.

Sorry to put you on the hot seat Braden but, I'm also curious where the nickname Angel came from?

Braden reaches over and takes Maddie’s hand, smiling at her.
Braden: You have seen her? She looks like one,so there wasn’t a more perfect nickname for her.
Maddie blushes.

Maddie when did you change your mind that Braden was so different than you thought he was?

Maddie: Coming face to face with my brother was probably the moment I finally realized it. I looked at Pearce, then Braden, and I knew that no matter how bad Braden had been before we both started the challenge, he’d never be Pearce.
Braden squeezes her hand.

This is for both of you, what was the most defining moment when you knew you had fallen for each other?

Maddie: The same day I realized he wasn’t as bad as I thought.
Braden: Vegas.
Maddie: Really? It was after we had sex? You know, I don’t even know why I’m surprised.
Braden: It was the connection we had!
Maddie: I’m sure it was.

Okay Birthday Weekend, what was your favorite part? *pretends like I don't know*

Braden grins. Maddie coughs and waves for Christina to move on.

Okay, I didn't want to get to this but, when you both found out you had been playing each other, why not put your feelings outright then?

Braden: I was pissed. I’d never really fallen for anyone before,so anger took over. If I could change it, would I have gone back to speak to her? Probably.
Maddie: He walked away so easily after he found out, that when I overheard Ryan it made perfect sense in my mind. He didn’t care, so there was nothing to talk about when I confronted him.
Braden: Of course I cared.
Maddie: Well, I know that now, don’t I?
Braden: You better.

Okay last question, Braden, when you saw Kyle with his arm around Maddie, how "caveman" did you go?

Braden: Fred Flintstone had nothing on me at that moment.

Okay now for some fun. I'll say a few words and you tell me your favorite thing that the word reminds you of.

Coffee:

Maddie:Double chocolate chip frap, yum.
Braden:Maddie.

Beach:

Braden smirks.
Braden:That kiss.
Maddie:Cooties.

Color:

Braden:The colour of Maddie’s cheeks when-
Maddie:Next!

Boxers or briefs:

Braden:Can we go for neither?
Maddie bites her lip.
Maddie:Can I, er, can I agree with that one?
Braden grins.

Okay you two, I'll let ya get back to classes or errr whatever you need to do. Thanks for taking time and chatting with me!

Maddie: Thanks for having us!
Braden: Yeah, thanks! We uh, have places to be now.
Maddie slaps his arm and waves to Christina

* I am still laughing after this interview.  Thanks Braden and Maddie, and to Emma this fun interview! *

Christina's Review of Never Forget :
I have to say that I feel fortunate and blessed to call Emma Hart my friend.  How many people get to watch their friend in the process of writing a book and watch it become a popular seller on amazon?  And how many friends get the chance to BETA read and then interviews their friend’s characters? I am blown away by Emma’s talent and ability to write these amazing books! Well I am fully confident that this book ,The Love Gave , will be up there at the top.  The Love Game is an amazing book that I couldn't put down till it was over.  Emma Hart has created another scorching story with THE LOVE GAME!

Most girls would love to stick it to the guys who have played them, and whowouldn't want to watch that happen? Maddie Steven's friends challenge her toplay the biggest player at school. Braden Carter. Braden's friends challengehim to make Maddie fall in love with him, something he doesn't do.  Will this game get the results they want, orsomething bigger?

I loved watching how this game is played out. The first date is over coffee, and I must give Braden points here because he orders what Maddie does, a doublechocolate chip frap. There is instant chemistry between these two, even thoughMaddie hates the type of guy Braden is and Braden is just trying to prove hecan do this date stuff.

Megan is friends with both Maddie and Braden. More like Braden's little sister.I really think she wants to see them together and that's why she was the biggest encourager of this game from Maddie's side. I found it hilarious that neither side new that they were playing each other.  Throughout the many dates I think my favorite was Braden's birthday party in Vegas.  This is where the game should have ended, but feelings were strong at this point.  And I will say this is the HOTTEST part of the book. Not that MR. Caveman Braden isn’t most of the time!  I really suggest that you watch for yourself the intensity of their "game".   Seriously I found myself rooting for them just to forget it and just date. But then it would just be a plain story.  We need the intensity, well at least I do!

What happens when both Braden and Maddie realize they both have been played?  Can they move forward with the feelings that were created?
My favorite Braden line from the book

"'But I am yours!'I grab her face and tilt her head back, making her eyes crashinto mine. 'I am yours, Maddie. I always have been, and I always will be.Yours. Do you get that? Do. You. Get. That? I'll always be yours.' "

With that line you should want more Braden! Now, I WONT tell you anymore other than I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE, LOVE this book and I'll leave you to go get your copy of The Love Game and go get yourself a#doublechocolatechipfrap !!  By the way did I say I loved the book? Hurry Go get it NOW!

Synopsis

Living in London after spending almost twenty years in a town with a population of three hundred would be hard on anyone – and Alec Johnson is no exception to the rule.

When Alec followed Lexy to London, he knew his life would change drastically. He just didn’t know how much. With Lexy’s friends and admirer to contend with, he has to show there’s more to the country surfer boy than is ability to ride the waves. With his own shameless admirers, he has to keep Lexy’s trust – and despite her love for him, that’s no easy task.
~ ~ <3 ~ ~
Beneath her tough girl exterior, all Jennifer Mason has ever wanted to do is paint. London’s School of Art can give her that, and she couldn’t be happier she’s finally breaking free from Lilac Bay. What she’s not happy about is having to leave Carl behind – or his reluctance to visit her while she’s studying.

Their relationship is put to the test as living on her own for the first time and university take their toll on Jen. After all, three hundred miles is a long way to be away from your boyfriend when you’re eighteen years old.
And it’s even harder when you can’t keep your eyes off your best friend’s older brother.

Exclusive Excerpt

JEN

“Let me out, Samuel.”
“No.” He smiles, crossing one ankle over the other, and folds his arms over his chest. It’s a dangerous pose in that suit, and as a bit of my anger at Adrian slips away, the anger at myself for being attracted to this prat grows.
“You can’t keep me in here.”
“I can. I have the key.” He grins. “You’re not going out until you calm down.”
“I’m calm. Who isn’t calm?” I shrug. “My glass is also empty.”
“You held your glass the whole time?”
“It’s Vino. Hello?” I wave my glass, sigh, and place it on the table behind me. I perch on the edge of it. “So I’m supposed to stay in here until you think I’m calm enough to go back out there?”
He nods. “Pretty much.”
“Yep. Because being stuck in a room with you is guaranteed to calm me down. I mean, why wouldn’t it? You are my favourite person after all,” I scoff.
He crosses the room, stopping right in front of me. “You might like me if you give me a chance instead of bitching at me all the time, Jennifer,” he says softly. “That wouldn’t kill you, would it?”
I look up, right into his warm eyes. “Probably not, but I don’t want to take the risk.” He shuffles a little closer, and I swallow. I might not like him, but my body sure as hell does.
Traitorous bundle of blood and hormones.
“What’s life without a little risk?” he whispers, his breath crawling over my cheek. He looks down at me with his dark eyes, watching me carefully. There’s a need and a want in there that I’m sure is mirrored in my own right this second, but I’m not prepared to acknowledge that crazy thought outside of my head.
There’s nothing wrong with a little risk in life. But liking Bing? That’s a risk too big, even for me.
My heart is thundering against my ribs, sending my blood thrumming through my body. I’ve gone from angry at Adrian to wanting Bing in less than five seconds. I’ve gone from wanting to kill Bing to kissing him in even less. He’s just stood there, not touching me at all, but I can feel him all over me. This is wrong.
But I can’t step away from him.

Releases on April 15, 2013!!!
